"backed by our combined EXPERIENCE, OUR patient testimonies, and the positive outcomes we see, we know this is one way for people to experience life a bit more easily."
-EMLLC CEO

What's your why they ask
"I chose to help people early on in life and EMLLC helps me to help others by bringing people services that fit their lifestyle. Thru active listening I can hear what people need or would benefit from per their lifestyle. Getting to know a person during intake or referral, helps develop a personalized experience and it's not hard to discover what a person can benefit from per available EMLLC services and/or using products."

EMLLC backstory: In a nutshell, since day 1 of EMLLC the CEO has existed to bring natural relief to people looking to feel better and experience positive health outcomes.
Fast forward to 2023, EMLLC has joined forces with new team members who believe in the same mission and offering services as a team thru OMT, natural nutrition, Diabetes management, and more!

The Why (details): Day 1 a long time ago. During a routine pain assessment as a traditional community health provider performing the assessment, EMLLC CEO/Owner was originally inspired by a patient residing in the community that sadly is no longer with us however educated her during that assessment about medical marijuana benefits for the first time in 2014. Years later, still convinced that MMJ provided better relief than opioids as well as better quality of life outcomes per that patient's testimony, she went on to establish EMLLC to increase patient access to the RI Medical Marijuana Program by streamlining the medical process, potentially see improved quality of life in the community that could access it, and especially serve the underserved populations she has many years' experiences caring for. Everyday Medicinals, LLC soon gained a wonderful reputation for providing professional and compassionate care. Since the CEO is the backbone of the day in and day out operations with many 10+ years' healthcare experience, not to mention surviving a pandemic...it's no surprise EMLLC has earned its place among the community!  This year new for 2023, is the team initiative that she looks forward to per positive experiences of group collaboration efforts that have yielded positive results over the years as a result of her lead as well as ability to be a team player with others that are likeminded as well as team oriented.

Credentials 2023:
She is much appreciated among those she serves and collaboratively works with, and since the pandemic hit and the awareness for integrated care has grown more intensely over the years especially due to the known epidemics of the world such as the Diabetes epidemic in which our CEO decided to grow the office into a multifaceted lifestyle support and education specialty office 2023. As a successful lead clinician for a 3-year Diabetes pilot program that remained successful during the pandemic and now ending 2023 as expected, she was able to exhibit the capability of producing successful strategies and positive health outcomes, somewhat based on personal experience as well as her professional education. That success led to the development of expanding the services of EMLLC by offering the community a variety of lifestyle support and education services to see positive outcomes. She is especially hopeful her office and team will be viewed as a specialty office for lifestyle support and education.
During the pilot program, thru direct community outreach research led by herself, she along with another peer created successful resources for those with Diabetes within the pilot program. Later on, she was able to see those resources become digitalized thru an app for Android & Apple phones built by RI Brown University students. She collaborated with the students regularly during the process as well as learned how to use the build out platform of the app to update it as needed (what started out as a nice to have idea came to fruition per credit due to the facilitation and collaboration of the RIDOH pilot program lead).
Lastly, as the pilot program has continued to meet objectives thus far and produced many positive clinical outcomes along the years such as: improved A1C, improved lipids, improved BMI, and positive patient engagement with follow thru via implementation of lifestyle support and education per her clinical lead during those 3 years. During July 2023 per ongoing review of the program outcomes, RI Department of Health applauded efforts of "kept pushing" during the pandemic as well as providing positive encouragement re: "feedback" that was given during those years which were contributing factors of the successes to date in which some of her efforts will be included in a manuscript to be produced by the RI Department of Health as well as published as appropriate. Her colleagues and peers in the community also applaud the positive health outcomes achieved per an impeccable drive to help people to experience positive health outcomes in which her patients also appreciate themselves!

End of 2022 an abundant new opportunity to become certified in auricular acupuncture (5NP) landed in her lap excitedly allowing her to grow professionally and personally by adding another skill to her community health toolbox to now personally provide natural relief with a hands-on treatment. After her own positive experience receiving acupuncture services for the first time during a stressful time also late 2022 just before the opportunity presented, it was not a hard sell to accept the opportunity to provide others with a positive life-enriching experience and hope for relief.
She hopes to share 5NP treatment in RI by networking with other professionals that can benefit from having her services at their office complimentary or apart of their treatment as well as volunteer her services to other community service organizations that can benefit from 5NP as a wellness incentive: fire, police, ACI, homecare agencies, or other places interested in the treatment to promote relaxation among high stress professions or jobs- see wellness page if your organization is interested in hosting a volunteer* 5NP staff wellness event while available.

Since day 1 she is grateful for those she has met along the way as well as currently teamed up with as she has been discovering more and more ways of providing natural relief to those in the community, including OMT and natural nutrition that is now available this 2023!
